This Weekend is the Austin AIA Home Tour
When: Noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Oct. 3
Where:Twelve homes throughout the Austin area; this is a self-guided tour
How it works: For the cost of admission, guests receive a wristband and a brochure. The wristband allows you into each of the featured homes.
Cost: $25 in advance; $30 at homes on the day of the tour. Wristbands can be purchased online or in person at the AIA Austin office, Zinger Hardware and Five Elements Furniture.

Urban Outfitters... for pups?
I bought this floor pillow at the beginning of summer with my little boy in mind. I thought it would make a comfy floor pillow to cushion his knees when playing at the coffee table. However, it was quickly adopted by Mike. He has used it all summer to nap on. It's his new bed. Who knew he would love it so!? Just $32 HERE.
