Dramatic Interior Design
By Campaign Design – UK
Established more than two decades ago, Kirk Originals eyewear company opened its London flagship store on Conduit Street in the West End this week with a swanky launch party. London-based Campaign designed the pared-down, dramatic interior design of the 66 square-meter boutique.
The black-and-white color palette, only one eyewear wall with 187 “heads” for frames, and practically no furnishings ensure that customers will focus on the eyewear, not the trappings.
Eye examinations and fitting take place in the basement, away from the main display space. Large graphics of winking eyes in the window speak the same, clear language leaving no doubt about what they sell.

The architectural design takes full advantage of the surrounding greeney to provide some incredible light and views from the living spaces. The highlight of the house is a spectacular European kitchen with a full height stunning glass windows. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath house has two floors, a carport and plenty of storage space.
This modern stylish home design is a lesson in modernist architecture with sleek, open, airy and inviting spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls have a hand in the home’s minimalist interiors – a perfect complement to the surrounding natural views.
Stand-out exterior features include metal detail, the wood-trellised box-framed window, and the sustainably-harvested exterior wood facade, adding warmth to the cool, concrete monolith. Multiple balconies and outdoor entertaining areas complete the alfresco living experience. Indoors, the house is modern, but cool and comfortable.
Bold geometry lends itself well to the open-concept main floor, lined with glass walls overlooking the lush, leafy hillside. Of particular interest is that the owner of this magnificent house, Michael Parks had no formal architectural or design training yet led this project to explore the possibility of using his love of architecture and project management skills .

The Modern House Design holds a special place in the field of architecture and environment. There is more variety in the design of houses than in any other type of architecture. The master study cantilevered out over the driveway appears to float and provides grand views of garden, swimming pool and the main entrance.
The most outstanding feature is the wood strip oval shape cylinder that houses the bedrooms on the 2nd. floor and recreational and guest room at ground level.
Playful architecture takes advantage of the tropical light to demonstrate the play of ambient light and shadow in this stylish residence.
The Dalvey House is truly a Modern House Design that is family centric and stylish.
Modern Dining Lighting :Dining Room Interior Design 2011
To complete the modern update of your dining room, replace outdated light fixtures with new ones. If you have a dated, 1980s crystal chandelier, replace it with a simple fabric drum fixture above your table or glass pendants. Choose fixtures with steel or nickel details rather than gold or brass, which tend to look more traditional. If the rest of your modern dining room design is understated, a dramatic light fixture can make a bold statement and become the central focus of the room.

Simple Decor Dining Room Interior Design 2011
Opt for simple dining table decorations on your dining table top. Rather than displaying a fussy, fake flower bouquet, opt for fresh flowers in a clear glass vase. Fruit arranged in a wooden or metal bowl makes a modern statement, too, especially when you choose monochromatic fruit such as limes or lemons. Choose place mats or table runners without any fussy details such as lace or tassels.
